Armano Gambino
I recently had the opportunity and privilege to shoot the charismatic and talented Armano Gambino in Milan during fashion week. The highlight of the shoot was creating a tribute image of Armano and his beloved Trudy; recreating the iconic photo of Armano’s long-time friend and mentor Karl Lagerfeld, used as the cover of Bazaar Magazine in October 2013. Karl Lagerfeld passed away in February 2019.
Armano Gambino is renowned as one of the most successful international hairdressers of our times. His eye for beauty is impeccable, as is his creativity and style. Preferring to be “where his heart is,” with a disregard for “living fashionably,” he is inspired by Japanese and Italian influences.
